we had songfest "practice" today in school...i got there...and we waited for the others to arrive...only a few came so never mind practice...oh!! im currently reading a book!! LOL! i know!! surprise, surprise!! well miren said i should really start reading...so i took her advice and went to powerbooks yesterday..miren said if its a cook book it doesnt count! >__O well the book i bought is entitled "Labyrinth" by Kate Mosse. so far its really interesting and im enjoying it although i dont read fast as other people usually do...i have my own pace...and the book is actually as thick as the bible!! but i dont mind. ^__~

let's see...what do i have for the coming week?

- submission of partial math project
- submission of filipino dialogue script
- submission of physics research paper (scrap book)
- teacher's day (slash) valentine's.. O__o
- college fair
- band show

basically, all i have are projects to do and finish....and i do have to prepare for valentines...no i dont have a date! (as if!) im making dinner for my friends here at my house! i was telling them since all 3 of us are always soo bitter on the idea of "love" and day that we hate the most is fast approaching...i wanted to at least give them something to smile about. ^___^

so far, this is the menu i've thought of:

appetizer: Champinones Al Ajillo (garlic mushrooms)
main course: pasta with fresh tomato puree sauce and grilled chicken
dessert: home-made strawberry ice cream

i know, pasta is up there again...well its only one of the few things i know how to make fairly well...im actually gonna make the sauce for it tomorrow already since its a lot of manual labor...i have to boil, seed and peel the tomatoes... O__o ALOT of tomatoes!! lol...well i enjoy doing it anyways... also today, i drove to the mall and picked up my ATM card (yes!) and i was finally able to withdraw my money!! LOL!! i needed it to buy the ingredients in the supermarket...although i wasnt able to buy everything i needed..

*note to self- dont forget to buy: olive oil, bruschetta bread, mushrooms, seasonings and flowers!!

the flowers are for my mum! ^__~ i dont want them to think that the dinner is only for my friends...ofcourse, the family's included too!! i cant remember what i did last year...most likely i did nothing...so i kinda feel excited about this now.....just a small dinner party!!

for what again?? LOL!!
